      What is claimed is: 1. A method of facilitating the control of odor in a wastewater system comprising providing a composition comprising a sulfide-consuming chemical, a nitrate compound, and a pH-elevating compound, each component present in an amount effective to reduce the concentration of sulfidic compounds in the wastewater.
